AndRO setup requirements

  1. Server name and website. Your APK will be named after your server's website, rename is not possible. Changing server name is considered a new server setup and requires a new license. Servers without website are not accepted!
  2. Link to the full PC client, archived
  3. Please send the full and updated game client that is actually working on your server (not "Lite" version).

    Note 1: Please don't send client with errors in GRFs! To check for errors you can use Tokei's GRF editor option: "Tools -> GRF Validation -> Validate Content -> Validate" (you can uncheck the "Detect sprite issues" checkbox).

    Note 2: Please don't send test client or non-patched client! The client must be the same client that you use for the PC. AndRO will be set up for the very client that you sent. If you send a non-final or a test client, the AndRO will be set up for that client and you may have to pay the setup fee once again to re-setup AndRO for the new client.

    Note 3: Please use Google Drive to share the client, for better download speed

    Note 4: You don't need to decrypt your GRF files. You can send the client "as is".

  4. Server's socket.c and socket.h files
  5. If you don't have socket.c and socket.h, send socket.cpp and socket.hpp files.

  6. Original EXE name for PC client
  7. With date in YYYY-MM-DD format and RE/non-RE

  8. A list of PC client hex modifications
  9. If you use NEMO for patching your exe, you can send the PatchList.log file from the NEMO folder after patching. If you use WARP, send the resulting .yml file instead.

  10. Valid ingame username/password for your server
  11. Please do not delete this account or change its password after you get the working APK. This will make further AndRO support and testing for your server much easier.

  12. Patcher information
    • For Thor patcher
      Please send "config.ini" file which you used for making Thor EXE (not main.ini!)
    • For RSU / Neoncube, please send
      1) patch list URL;
      2) file server URL;
      3) local version file name (.inf file name for RSU, neoncube.file name for Neoncube);
      4) patch GRF file name;
  13. (optional) Notify me if you want to use your own HTTP file server to download client resources / full client using AndRO.
  14. Although this step is optional, it's highly recommended. If you have no dedicated server or VPS, the resources will be hosted at roworkshop. The roworkshop hosting is free, but the download speeds will be much lower because of bandwidth and slow connection between your players and roworkshop (especially for Asian servers). If you want to skip this option, you can switch to your own resource-server anytime later, but the operation will cost additional 30 USD for you.

  15. (optional) Custom app icon

    If you want a custom icon for your app, use Android Asset Studio to generate your icon, then press DOWNLOAD .ZIP button and send me the result .zip file. If you don't want a custom icon, the default icon will be used for your app.

  16. (optional) Graymap GRF

    If you want to add a graymap, you need to provide the GRF file. Your players will be able to enable/disable this additional GRF.

  17. Please confirm that your server is up and running at the moment and foreign IPs are not firewalled off.

Send your requirements to email: chris.edisson@gmail.com or Discord chrisedisson#2972. After you send me all the requirements, you need to wait until I look through and accept your files (usually takes a few days). After that I will contact you about the payment details.
